Calling somebody jealous of someone with a high level of education is a VERY different accusation to calling somebody a racist.

Well yeah and no, I can see your point of view absolutely but it's like trying to explain slang

Call it ignorance partisanship or hatred et al, but it isn't unusual lets say in an example of a percieved Conservative backhander to business or something along those lines to be derided as 'giving business to their Etonian chums' etc. It's clearly a jib, normally wholy unjustified but such is certain in levels of politics/people. When you read it enough, it sticks unfortunately on some level. There is a lot of stick still given to the tories up here, and sometimes bits of it just slip through by accident if I'm honest. You have to remember that Conservatism for now is all but wiped out here, there aren't many proponents for it and it's something both sides, rightly or wrongly, can attach on. I may be guilty of picking up 'erroneous' politico slang, but I'm certainly not jealous or racially introverted or prejudiced.
