Min Working Temp In Shop

From what I have read the min temp is 13/15C. Now our shop is in the 11's and with it getting colder im sure it will go down into the 10's.

The company know the heating is broken yet nothing is being done about it. Am I right in thinking Environmental Health can get them to do something? If they did close the store down would I still get paid?

To your last question - no, as a temp you are paid for what you work.

Regarding the heating, complain to your agency.

14 i thought was the minimum temperature

I was under impression it was 16oC but no maximum temp.

Im not a temp im full time, been there for over 5 years. We mention the heating everyday but the company dont care.

At the moment the middle of the shop which is prob the warmest is about 11.8.

The same thing has happend before to another store and the company didnt do anything till someone else got involved and threatended to close them down.

13C is the minimum if you doing psychical work e.g. lifting, carrying stuff around etc otherwise its 16C
