Got some mince beef in the freezer and was wondering if anyone has any ideas what I could do with it.

Usually I'd make a cottage pie or chilli but meh looking for something different.

Any ideas? :)

e: Oh, and nothing with pasta *shudders*

Salt, a few herbs and spices and make burgers. Load them up with all your favourite toppings. It is my favourite 'easy' meal with some home mad chips on the side.

Burgers, meatloaf, meatballs, bolognese (I know you said no pasta but you can eat it with other things), tacos, pie/pasty, curry.

That dim sum...*drools* Love spring onion too.

Tacos sound good and easy! Delicious

Burgers I've tried to make in the past and still perfecting that recipe, always go too bland or too spicy. :D

Lots of inspiration here already, thanks guys :D

They are extremely easy to make as well, even the dough. Then just a soy based dipping sauce to go with it. Sweet chilli sauce doesn't go well.

I just add spices ground tumeric coriander cumin and maybe some chilli powder. Brown the meat. Then once it's cooked grate some extra mature cheddar on top and mix it through until melted. Wash some lettuce leaves. Spread a bit of mayo and or sriracha sauce ( if you didn't use chilli powder earlier ) fold into parcel and eat with hands. Easy.

Ah the joys of low carb.

Mexican!

Make up some chilli with the mince and get yourself some taco shells, great fun hand food with lots of side options?

I would go for a plate full of browned mince with lashings of gravy over some lovely mashed potato and in the gravy mix in some chopped fried onions and mushrooms.

Traditional mincemeat, with the meat.

Failing that you could create a lump, wrap it in pastry with some duxelles and pate, and make a poor mans beef wellington if it's quite lean. Just as something a bit different.

Cottage pie, Lasagne, burritos, encheladas, chilli, burgers !

The list is endless, if you have some decent mince you can make countless tasty meals :)
