Hah, Zap's is nothing compared to my Dads.
My Dad idles around 600mb mem used and in use he uses up to 1gb
He's the turbo multi tasker :p

Right now I'm running FileZilla, Task manager (just to look at what mem usage) and 3 tabs in Mozilla (not including background programs) and I have 33 processes 310mb mem taken.

I use it far too much, I often wonder what its like outside:p

No really, none of the above taskbars have any program that I would find useful. I play CoD2, use MSN and IE6, thats it.

a few things that i use that do not need a systray icon

bluetooth (i use the file transfer wizard from the start menu)
daemon tools (i use the awxDTools plugin so i can right click files to mount them)
steam (always close this when gaming is finished)
outlook (never leave it open)
speedfan (never leave it open)

I claim dibs on SQL Server Service Manager. I write so much T-SQL at the moment I think I'm turning into a DBA :p

Re: UltraMon. Anyone know whether Vista will have better multiple-monitor support? I'd like to dump the prog if possible as I only use it for the second taskbar :)

37 processes running.

I'm going to cry if Vista doesn't have proper multi-mon taskbar support. They've hinted at it before in the 4000-series builds:

But I've not heard anything on the subject since then :(

You realise you can hide the DivX icon in the preferences, and MS Antispy is Windows Defender now and has no tray icon?

I don';t like the new antispy interface so stick with the old style - divx icon reappears after a few days regardless of settings when playing movies...like i said though, it only shows when playing a divx movie.
