Minecraft OCuK Forum Members Server Thread

My first connection to this server had me pick up 2 bits of dirt, and then turn round to see a large blazing structure far in the distance...
The game then crashed... Win?

So what do people mainly do? Create massive underground caverns? mine? Seems a proper choir to build things when you can just go to a server and build proper. It'd be awesome if everything worked together, you had people mining, people gathering other resources to build something huge, like a massive skyscraper or something.

But so much to remember in the Minecraft Alpha.
 
Will monsters be turned on when they're fixed in the next patch, or do you not want monsters on this server?
 
Flashbacks of the old Classic OcUK server. Unfortunately, even with the white list, there are too many tossers on OcUK to keep a server incident free. You keep any backups?
 
So do you have to dig up everything to build something, or can someone people build underground mines/forts and give the materials to the people on top who want to build things?
 
Yeah they can you can give anyone your stuff.

For the whitelist make members market / free delivery requirements like on the forum, xD

are you saying that this game isn't worth £8? because it is, the last 3 £30 games i've got have all been pretty crap for actual entertainment, whereas this is just transfixing

£4 sure worth a punt but meh £8 just seems to much for something that might worthless especially when there's over 600 games for under £7 each on steam atm.

Tefal I'm shocked at you, this game is worth far far more then £8. That's the price of 2 pints and I've had far more entertainment from this then I get from 2 pints. I need atleast 4 or 5 before the real world gets this fun :o

it's actually a decent game though much better than all the "bargains" on steam which are usually antiquated rubbish which were great back in their day but not particularly fun now

but it's also more than say audio surf, plants vs zombies goty, or mafia 1 etc.

Especially as it seems dependent on mp.

it's not dependant on mp at all, i've spent more time in sp than mp and i wouldn't say audiosurf was as interesting as this or mafia 1 (yes i'm arguing using opinion flame away)
