Ive just had another update this morning... not sure if that was last nights or not?

But the server wont let me connect something to do with out of date client.

yeah means the server hasn't been updated yet.

Host says server has now been updated but I still can't connect.
So give it a go if it's working or not let me know.

hmm just got another update, notchs blog said /home was removed

Second bug update today, this is only going to delay the server being up.

* Fixed a rather bad memory leak bug in the server (entity position updates accumulated in orphaned player objects)
* Riding carts and boats now works properly when you travel long distances.
* Harvesting crops no longer yields fake seeds
* Removed /home (sorry!)
* Snowballs again!

Wonder if it's so you can't quickly run away from monsters back to a safe place.

It can be got around by asking a admin to set a /warp point for you but it will not be named 'home'.

lol its more of a problem for me as my tower was converted to obsidian and i locked it all up

Loaded up fine for me, but up until yesterday I hadn't been online on Minecraft since the old server was blitzed.
Wouldn't take my non insta-spawn death as the norm...

Oh... There's heaps of creepers in the spawn area. I came back to find myself dead...
Oops.

when you logoff make sure you are in a safe place inside with light before you do & have full health.

I will not be adding the lava fix mod on the server anymore (the one that stops it from setting wood alight) this will stop players using wood & lava next to each other.

It was that mod that was stopping the server from working today aswell.
