I keep hearing about this game so I checked out the website and wtf?? This looks total rubbish, like something I would play on my 386 when I was 8.

Says on wiki they sold 300,000 copies?? A guy made 3,000,000 euros of this???

Is it anymore than some trendy internet meme thing? EXPLAIN.

Since when did games have to have fancy graphics to be fun?

I usually prefer the original game in a series with bad graphics but good gameplay than the latest game with good graphics but rubbish gameplay (command and conquer anyone....)

Who cares what the graphics look like? You can build a scale model of the damn eiffel tower if you wanted to.

If this doesn't make you appreciate the vastness of this game I don't know what will.

I want to have a go but it gives me an error when trying to load up. I try to play single player (classic).

The error is this:

org.lwjgl.LWJGLEXCEPTION: Pixel format not accelerated

Any idea what this means?

You aren't accelerating your pixels.

It's way more fun than loads of rubbish I've paid £40 for on consoles and played for 30 mins.

Ones entertaining and ones clicking a few buttons in the same line for days on end to actually achieve well nothing..

To be fair the effort and creativity gone into that guys 'ride' is a lot more impressive than someone who has sat and watched tv for the same amount of time.

Well obviously you actually need to have gameplay for it to be more important than the graphics.

Minecraft certainly has gameplay.

Without a doubt, it looks great. Lots of hard work. I went on it a few weeks ago. I was like 'wtf' but simple things can be the most addictive as everyone knows with games..
