hi so I’m looking to build a mini/micro ATX build to use while I’m away with work.

I work at sea for 3-4 months. I have a 2700x at the moment in my build at home but thinking of building a Mini /micro ATX and think I may Aswell use that cpu for it.

I’m thinking it would be shipped to and from the ship but maybe it could travel with me?

Any advice on the build would be appreciated.

Modest cost ideally.

Cheers

If you have normal wall power available, then any normal build could be used.
Though most likely Mini-ITX would be the best size depending on space you have available.

How much is 'modest' when talking about cost? My daughter wanted/required a small build and I went with Mini-ITX. It works really well for her however it's not exactly tiny. Your budget will obviously play a big part on what components you go for.

There was a post here yesterday asking the same questions, let me dig it out:
