My CPU was a Haswell at 4.90GHz in the very well priced Gigabyte OC Force motherboard and just some 2400MHz RAM, nothing crazy here, so a lot more tuning here will see much higher physics score in 3D Mark series.

Gibbo, just curious - what temps have you got on the CPU at 4.9Ghz with that Megahalems I see sat on it?

Correct mate. Binned Kingston HyperX Greay and Blue that do 2400-2666 mhz on a 1600mhz kit!!

The CPU temps are mid 70's loaded at 5ghz. That rig is my Gigabyte testing rig!!
