Hi,
I'm looking to order the parts for a mini PC.
I want the ones with the small 'cube' kind of shaped cases, but im not sure exactly what case/motherboard etc to get.
Could you guys help?
Cheers

As cheap as possible please mate!
It's going to be used simply for one piece of software which basically tells an envelope printer what to print, that's it.

I was just looking at the Lian Li Mini ITX case, does it come with a PSU?

I was also looking at another case which was micro ATX, and a cube, but wasn't sure which motherboards would fit inside? it said 9.5 inch by 9.5 inch mobos would fit, but I couldn't find any dimensions on the micro ATX motherboards.

Brian if you've got enough bits left to actually make one that you think will be suitable, PM me about them :).

I added a mini ITX system up on OcUK but it's come up as about £400

It's not actually for me and i've jst been told it needs to be a little box/cube one.

So what about this spec? Does this case have a PSU cus it doesnt state :(?

I knowww it's overkill but basically the people who are supplying him with the print servers at the moment are charging him about 2 grand a time, so this is still dirt cheap.

This is the only cube one I can find that I know 100% will all be compatible. I'm not sure about the motherboards fitting that Micro ATX cube box

i looked at that but its out of stock :(
i'll just whack a cheapish psu in there too then :)

naaa he gave me one to look at, and all it is is a computer with a small piece of software for the printer running on windows XP :/

Thanks guys!

It's likely i'll have to do this again so could anyone suggest a build that would be cheaper? probably with the micro ATX cube box?

before i order could you guys please confirm this is all correct pleaseee! thanks

That other case looks a bit big though? :(
I dunno why it has to be a cube lol, but im kinda just following instructions at the moment :P.

Are there no smaller mini ITX cases?

The modular psu sounds like a good idea, cheers
