Hi all

I have a mini PCI-e hard drive from a Dell Mini 9 which I need to get data from however the Mini 9 is no longer functional. Can anyone give me any bright ideas of how to get to the data in the cheapest way possible?

I have access to HP 6910p/6930p/2540p model laptops all of which have a mini PCI-e connector for optional WWAN modules. I ASSUME (bad form I know...) these are not specifically for WWAN modules and should accomodate any mini PCI-e device however I don't want to just plug it in and end up with a dead hard drive. What do you think my chances of it working are?

Thanks in advance :)

Won't work mate, mSata/IDE is wired differently to mPCIe due to implementing IDE/SATA controllers.. short of having a laptop with this function i think you're SOL.
