Wouldn'y put it past BMW to pull out of another form of motorsports, they have to keep there stock pile of cash as high as physically possible.

thats good to hear, WRC needs as many cars as it can get, i keep hoping for a return to form for WRC.

WRC is in dire times at the moment, coverage is poor, Few manufacturers, and the domination by loeb very reminicent of schumacher in F1 in the mid-late 90's - early 00's, makes it too predictable and ultimately boring(its not his fault that the competition cant keep up but thats just the way it is), the sport needs an injection of new talent, however i cant see that happening until there is more money in the sport for teams to develop upcoming drivers.

VW are joining next year and I think I heard about another manufacturer (possibly Suzuki?) looking to join too.

The biggest issue is its coverage (or lack of it) though.

yeah, i didnt get to see a single round on TV last season, had to try more shady solutions to get my rally fix:eek::mad:

Ah seems you might struggle this year as well. Seems NorthOne Sport have lost the media rights to WRC. Unconfirmed as of yet but seems Eurosport will be filming the Monte!

I've had a few dealings with NorthOne - Well each video I bring out they claim copyright for it so I'm happier they can't do that anymore.

Still a lot of people will lose their jobs if this is the case.
