BMW are joining DTM next year, and keeping their GT program going too I believe.
This isn't a oversight by Mini/Prodrive, the team are in talks with the FIA over the "issues" with NorthOne Sport and the media rights.
Prodrive are also in talks with Redbull about a sponsorship deal
thats good to hear, WRC needs as many cars as it can get, i keep hoping for a return to form for WRC.
WRC is in dire times at the moment, coverage is poor, Few manufacturers, and the domination by loeb very reminicent of schumacher in F1 in the mid-late 90's - early 00's, makes it too predictable and ultimately boring(its not his fault that the competition cant keep up but thats just the way it is), the sport needs an injection of new talent, however i cant see that happening until there is more money in the sport for teams to develop upcoming drivers.

yeah, i didnt get to see a single round on TV last season, had to try more shady solutions to get my rally fix
Ah seems you might struggle this year as well. Seems NorthOne Sport have lost the media rights to WRC. Unconfirmed as of yet but seems Eurosport will be filming the Monte!
