The 3D Modelling is almost complete, i've decided to incorporate Bitspowers new CR distro's into the build. The CR802 is an 80mm Distro block with a Hercules pump installed all in one solution. All i need to do is fabricate a custom bracket to install this to the back of the case. The small size of the unit means it suits the build and form factor im working with. Was a little tempted to use the CR801 which is an even smaller version but wanted to maximise the space i had available.

Finally the waterblock has arrived! The smallest block i own to date and fits perfectly into the frame. With this now done i can work on tubing measurements and build a mock up of the radiator shroud before sending it off to the fab.

This block was relatively easy to assemble just out of common sense but the instructions weren't particularly clear however. Definitely needs some improvement in the instruction manual but other than that, it's a very nice and quality block. I believe the machining has somewhat improved since this version is part of their classic range which is now EOL.

Perfectly sized GPU and block. Clean and unfussy too, love it.

Any chance you can throw the air cooler for it in with the EDPM?

If i didn’t need it for other builds coming up i bloody would haha! Might have some stuff coming up to give away at some point but will keep you informed.

Bitspower has come through with their care package. Quite lucky to get my hands on their CR802 reservoir featured at CES this year, this tiny res is perfect for SFF builds.

Will do a full unboxing later tonight :D

There's gonna be a whole bunch of photos coming throughout the week while i sort everything out. Lets start with this most anticipated CR802 reservoir that was showcased at CES2024 in January.

Assuming that's a DDC pump, I'd estimate it's 150x80x50mm

So a touch taller than a 140mm fan, half as wide and twice as thick.

That's actually a good estimation, it's not far off tbf.

Also, why is there a sticker on the box warning about Cancer and Reproductive harm? What the hell have Bitspower made this out of?

I believe it has to do with US distribution that these labels are necessary? The Item was shipped from their Taiwan HQ/warehouse though so im not that clued up with their laws and regulations there.

Might be similar to how the US has to have those warnings for cancer, death and other diseases on their medication adverts. While i was over at the US, the adverts start off so nice like this pill/treatment will help relieve pain and give you a better life then they finish with "Can cause liver, heart, lung cancer, skin cancer and may cause death"... like WHAT?!

Really didn't think those would
Align perfectly without using rotary fittings
Definitely already unique looking mate

Same thought, had the double rotaries at the ready but so glad i dont need to use them as it would have created more distance between each of the units.

Barely enough space as it is lol

Will reply properly in a minute, just finishing up opening and photographing all the fittings, tubing, blocks, etc. There is a lot to get through

Sometimes you just get lucky
Hopefully that's a good sign for your build
Hardly ever lines up for me
I decided very early in my watercooling life
Just to buy everything rotary
Especially since no option to just walk into a store here
And get more fittings
Next day delivery is great nowadays
But sometimes you just want it today lol

Next day or even same day delivery at times lol!

I've had a few amazon delivered same day, no idea how they do it but worth the membership!

Good question actually
I forgot about that
Would 4 impellers cause any significant flow issues?
Or merely for aesthetics?
Too lazy to read back to see what he originally said

Ps.
@Jay85
What's keeping my photo request
You growing the banana or something :cry:

Im actually more inclined to do 2 impellers now, one at the top and one at the bottom. Also removing some of the RGB too, its too much cabling to mess around with. Luckily the whole backside of the RGB section comes away in one piece separate from the rest of the unit.

Also:

Edit: its an Orange...

The flow meters look great!

Do you still plan to remove all but one of the impellers?

Thats the plan though i might just end up removing 2 of the 4 to make it look abit more even. Comes down to how much noise these impellers make tbh. From experience, from other brands i've used they make a lot of noise.. like a rattle.

yeah, I think maybe just the top two would look good

Had some time to play about tonight with the different configs. Not enough time to take some proper photos though so will do that another day. In the process of sending the manufacturer the CAD files for the Radiator enclosure.

Shoutout to Arya from AquaCustoms for the CAD work once again, guys a magician.

Finally, managed to snap photos of the rest of the gear including some of the fittings that Bitspower sent me for the project. Feels like Christmas, had so much open and unbox :p.

I hadn't thought about the noise aspect and was actually thinking that the 4 impellers would look great, adding some interest even.

On that note I do think 2 would look better than one but the noise is something to consider.

P.S. Pics look good, as usual. That tubing looks awesome.

Plenty of time to mess around with it, i'll come back to this at some point and experiment a little to see if it does indeed make that much noise.

Having everything here now, its so very tempting to bang a 4090 and a 14700k into this but the psu would blow itself to pieces .
