My phone does it. If you start typing and use the predicted text it automatically puts a space after. And like me probably can't be bothered backspacing to correctly add the grammar.

Yes it does but then if you add punctuation, it automatically removes the space. At least, that's what mine does, I've just proved it by using predicted text for as much of this message as I can and it's not got made that mistake once.
