hello all, I currently use an ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED. It constantly overheats and throttles as I use GIGABYTE 4k display at 120hz and a Samsung 4k display at 60hz. I use this mostly for studying.

Please can you recommend the minimum requirements for a windows desktop to allow me to continue with this monitor combination and do basic gaming? [ is an RTX 3060 enough as I cannot afford to overspend] thank you

Depends on what you mean by "basic". In today's games, the 3060 is a 1080p card, so... 4K is a big ask. Would it work in old/undemanding games? Sure, but it'd be easier with upscaling/DLSS.

Best thing to do is give us a budget, what games you play and at what res.

Do you need a monitor, keyboard, mouse and Windows license?
