Hi all,

Quite a strange request here

My brother is planning on building a low end computer, primarily for playing D3 - or as low end as possible for a reasonable experience. Without giving a budget and looking at the minimum specs for d3, can you guys recommend a build?

It's just the tower that's needed, nothing else. He wants to be able to play it - albeit at probably lowest settings and doesn't mind if the resolution drops somewhat (within reason) as will be playing on a 1280x1024 monitor anyway.

Any help is appreciated because I know the minimum requirements for games are always to be taken with a pinch of salt

thanks for these, im sure I've got an old HDD somewhere to go along with that SSD. I'll let him know. I'm liking the 6850 that's on offer! (in fact just got the newsletter about it! haha)

What about power supply? I'm always skeptical about low end ones and of course theres not much around for this kind of price but would it be better to go for something like this? Would it be that much more stable or is there even much difference?

Any decent graphics card will run it, I've got an i3-2120 and a GTX 460 running it on the high presets at 1680*1050. It's a lot less graphically intensive than it seems.
