Minimum Spec GFX card for 20" LCD gaming.

I had wanted to buy a 20" widescreen, was seriously considering the Belinea, but now I've been advised (in no uncertain terms) that a GeForce 7600 GT card is inadequate for driving any 20" widescreen at it's optimum 1680 x 1050 resolution, which would mean if I purchased the Belinea, I'd be gaming at a lower resolution until I could afford a better card. Or maybe I should just settle for a 19" widescreen. So what kind of cards are you guys using for gaming on your 20" widescreens?

For a single card an X1900 XT at £200 would do the business

7600 GT can actually play a lot of games ok at that res if you don't mind losing AA/AF and toning the detail down a little.

My X1900XTX serves me excellently, but as a minimum i'd reccommend a 7900GT, preferable an X1900XT.

xfx 7900gt extreme edition on a viewsonic vx2025 runs very well

i dont have any problems running my LG 20in with a 6800GT
so i`d have thought the 7600gt should be fine

for my 20" widescreen (Philips 200W6CS), im using a X1900XT - playing Counter Strike Source on highest settings, with AA and AF on 4x - runs with ease.

x1900xt with a 21" Gateway is a very nice combo

I use a 7900GT which allows me to play any game on fullest settings at 1680x1050. Anything less than a 7900GT though would not be so good, especially in games like FEAR.
