minimum time on o2 PAYG before porting?

my contract with T-mobile is up and I want an upgrade/change but they cant offer me anything like as good a deal as third parties can on a new contract so I want to take a new contract with T-mobile but keep my number.

I want to do the double shuffle number port to o2 PAYG, then back to T-mobile, but I've read there may be a minimum time you are required to stay on o2 before you're allowed to port away again?

nope i did mine 24 hours after it was ported.

would't it be easier just to transfer to t-mob payg and transfer back to contract? save the hassle of the going between 2 networks.

I'm sure I read recently somewhere that Orange is the only network which allows you to move between PAYG and contract and keep your same number....(ie without having to change network)

someone correct me if I'm wrong please!

No more or less hassle either way is it? Still have to do exactly the same things.

Also, I've just ordered a free o2 PAYG sim, dont know if T-mobile do free ones?
