minor issue

I have spent a good few hours today installing my new goodies into my existing case.

I have upgraded the motherboard, cpu and ram toa Z77x UD3H, i5 3570 and 8gb samsung green.

Earlier I had an issue where the motherboard would not recognise my hard drives due to a setting - changed this to SATA and now it works and I get into windows okay.

I am however experiencing issues with my Razer Copperhead. It appears to be a USB 3.0 conflict as the mouse requires 1.1 - 2.0 to function correctly - that is to be recognised by the razer software.

It functions as a mouse but with no settings / DPI adjustments or hotkey mapping which is rather annoying.

Is there a way on these motherboards to force 2.0 only on some of the USB sockets?

Cheers

p.s. keeps unrecognising the G15 keyboard too.. grr.

Argh - this board is temperamental :p

Turns out they work best when plugged into the two bottom USB ports as thats Intel based as opposed to the other ports which need the 3.0 drivers and are a bit picky. Crisis over.. and handy info to know I guess!
