Hi guys,

I have a dual boot system with Windows Vista X64 and Linux Mint 32bit.

However, Mint will not mount my 16GB MicroSD card when I connect my phone to the PC and choose the "Mount as disk" option on the phone.

It will however do it, if I connect my phone to the PC before I boot into Linux.

lsusb lists the phone: (High Tech Computer Corp) and I've tried different USB slots on my PC..

I've noticed this for the iPhone on the new ubuntu. You usually can bring up the photos on it when it's plugged in. However every once in a while it doesn't work an my iPhone just doesn't automount when I plug it in. Then when I go to manually mount it, it comes up with a IBus configuration error or something.

The only way I get it to work is to literally keep plugging the iPhone in and out about five times and it eventually works.

I had this problem ages ago and I can't for the life of me remember how I overcome it.

All I can suggest is when you plug in the device, the notification area will have two new items (Debugging and mount), make sure you mount the device from there and then if nothing happens all I can think of is I might of had a permissions problem (the USB device didn't have the right permissions to work or something).

Good luck.
