Mirror/Clone Hard drive free programs ?

I just upgrated my HDD and I'm in the search for a freeware program to mirror the current one.

What are the best options ?

If you have a Maxtor or Seagate drive connected to your system (even via USB) then download the free DiscWizard tool from the Seagate website.

A live linux disc + correct use of the dd command will do it.

You can always use DriveImageXML to do this as well. Good app that.

Theres always a Trial version of Ghost from Symantec, never had issues with it.

If you're in Vista, make sure you run it as an administrator and turn off UAC when you want to use it.

I used to use MS' SyncToy - but that left rogue empty folders and so wasnt truely mirroring what was present on my storage drive to the back up volume.

Are there any others out there that back up and DON'T change any file formats into a single large file (for example). I want to be able to navigate into my backup volume if I were to require copying one or two files back.
