It's out and the reviews are in. Still a very Marmite game, I absolutely love it - feels like a First Person Shooter Colin McRae, once you get in the flow it's sublime. Combat is still ****, story also.
Reviews so far haven't been great, I enjoyed the first game's gameplay but I thought the story was poor, seems the story isn't great in this one either. I might still pick it up once I'm done with blood and wine though.
Price is still a little high for me to jump on it just yet, however really loved the first one, a breath of fresh air at the time. Once it's down to around £20 I think i'll give it a buy. Would like to see it running on these 'hyper' settings.
Never got into the first one, but I was hoping this might interest me. While I don't generally go by review scores I have to say the videos accompanying said reviews really put me off. Looks pretty clumsy overall with dodgy combat and visually while everything has a nice look the overall game world appears very plain.
I wanted this to interest me in some way but still might consider it if it's ever cheap enough.
Played this for the past two hours. Enjoyed it so far but they're really streching the characterisation of some of the NPCs in a bland and uninteresting way (read:super snarky). Also spent half the time running the infinitly generated drop missions before I realised they weren't going to end.
Anyone know if I can get any hooks in to play this on my rift?
