Have a misfire on boost, which was nice when i boosted and got a bang and fuel out the back, good job ive no cat as it would now be dead i imagine! (good for the environment too!) thinking that it could be....

Distributor and rotor arm are fairly new so should be good but could be replaced.

Coil pack could be checked and changed (i need to change it for the turbo one anyway as they are slightly different) as it means im using an OEM king lead instead of the magnecor lead.

Duff spark plug(s) will change them tomorrow when its light and cooled down a little, dont fancy juggling hot plugs.

Any other ideas?

Duff plugs could be as a result of the underlying problem causing it to run rich.

I had a boost leak for a month which fowled my plugs fairly quickly.

Changed the plugs and it seems to have cured it apart from right at the very top end, when you reach 11 or 12 psi it stutters and boost spikes up and down fairly violently.

Old ones came out white with brown tips.

The boost hose needs redoing so that could just be the problem.

Its a used engine, doesnt seem to be running rich tho.
