Misfits on E4

Good episode, and a nice handy way to get rid of some rubbish powers and give them new ones :)

They killed of teleportation girl quite quickly though :/

No they never.

Curtis rewound time

Edit: Just remembered there was an episode tonight.... Now its ruined :(

I think it's alright but the younger brothers love it. What I will say for it though is that it does seems to be head and shoulders above the usual stuff Channel 4 squeezes out for the 15-23s crowd.

Ok so i have just watched the season finale and loved the episode. Love this programme ever since it came out last year but to be honest im a little bit disappointed in the producers here.

Since they have gone back to get powers they are just basically going to put us through the same thing they did in series one where they do a story about who has what power.

Also heard that Robert Sheehan (Nathan (Gobby Kid as others have called him)) might not be returning to the series. I think this would be a major downfall in the programme as he is one of, if not the best character in the show.

*spoiler alert*
stumbled across this show while browsing through 4oD a few weeks ago. glad i found it! great characters, cast, humour etc.
The storyline is good but some episodes rely too much on convenience i feel, like the lactose thing as Shami mentioned.
regarding the finale, i was under the impression they choose what new powers they were getting so hopefully we won't see a redo of S1.

Perhaps Robert Sheehan is far too busy to spend a few weeks filming another 6 episodes.

Don't you just hate it when actors get too big for their boots.

Mumble, mumble, mumble... then...

"I heah dem talkin' do me..."

:D:D:D

Like a bad 'Taxi Driver' impression... and his Irish accent keeps cracking through the surface later on.

At least now I have a counterpoint to Irish people bitching about Americans doing bad 'Oirish' accents. :D

I liked the finale last night, the way the episodes go can be completely random and have a few holes in them but it's well worth looking past those. Especially when you are dealing with someone who can change time.

Either way, that ep was a nice finish to it all, plus they all get and choose new powers.

It will also set the story for Simon becoming more of a super hero (as played out in S2). One thing remains, future Simon could touch Alisha without her power affecting him - before she had her power taken away. This must mean that he takes on a few powers in the future...

The end last night busted a new series wide open and I was glad to hear S3 was announced for next year. Would be a real shame if Nathan wasn't in it. I was also disappointed with the writing out of teleport girl, I was half expecting her to be written back in with one of their new super powers (might still happen).

Here's looking to 2011 and S3!

I haven't seen the very last (Christmas Special) episode yet - but I am enjoying the Series so far. There is a big onus on Adults-only themes which might not suit some, but the cast are mostly in their 20s so it does seem befitting that they have a large appetite for certain things.

Should catch the last episode on 4od Catch up this week (it's how I normally watch Misfits) as I'm not sure NTL picks it up.

I have to say that the sex scenes don't really add anything to the show. I would much rather they weren't there.

If I want to see sex, I could easily watch a porn movie on-line, for free.

Thought last nights episode was a little rubbish... Just seemed slightly random in places with Nathan finding some random pregnant bird and being besotted by her all within the space of 2 minutes, then when the teleporting girl died it was like they forgot about her and went back off to their lives a minute later.

Was originally attracted to this series because it was filmed where I grew up/some family still live so I know all the outside locations, but I'm not sure if the story is a little lost... I just think the original appeal for myself has gone a little, and I'm not really sure where they're gonna take series 3 which was announced after the show finished.

Guess I'll have to visit my relatives when they're filming again to see who is and isn't included in the next series. :D

This show is great imo, while some episodes seem a bit lacking sometimes in terms of story the acting of the cast seems to carry it anyway, I've thoroughly enjoyed both seasons and the Xmas cliffhanger was excellent.

I'm in agony from laughing at Nathan at the birth, oh my god. I utterly love this series and Nathan is by far my fave character on TV by a mile.

I laughed my ass off when he said she was giving birth to an alien before pulling it out and stamping all over it sending bits of afterbirth everywhere.... Didnt stop laughing for a good 5 mins at that :D
