Missing girl 15, runs off with Maths teacher.

Still happens in a lot of countries. I was reading a news story a couple of months ago I think it was about young girls (I think the example given was around 12 years old) having arranged marriages to older men.

That'll be in India, still goes on now in the more remote parts. However they always claim the marriage isn't consummated until they are 18 which you can believe or not.

The age of consent varies dramatically from country to country.

In some countries the age of consent is as low as 9. Even in some developed nations the age is surprisingly low - for example Japan where the age of consent is 13.

Last week my wife and I visited a school to have a look around ...as part of choosing / looking at secondary schools for our daughter who has special needs( she has Aspergers Syndrome) ..anyway on going into the playground with a member of the school staff we spoke to who I thought was another member of the school staff , we all spoke for about 10 minutes....it was only after that we found out this ( member of staff) was in fact a 15 year old girl who could easily pass for a 20 year old woman .....I was a bit shocked.....girls when i was at school never looked like that .

but this teacher whos gone off with the 15 year old girl....should have said No!!

They go through puberty earlier due to improved diet is what I meant. And actually also because they arent doing as much physical work as they used to at such young ages means their energy is better reserved for growth and development.

ey?

so you're talking about physical maturity when you were referring to this quote

How can it be consensual with a minor? They're not old enough to make adult decisions like that, they're very impressionable.

about their mental maturity.

Age is not a clear cut factor on maturity. Most 14+ year old these days are as mature as 18 year olds would have been 50-100 years ago.
Just no.

They dress more maturely now, they often act more maturely and I'm fairly sure that they think in their head that they are more mature than someone the same age might have done generations ago, but that doesn't make them more mature.

I could dress up like a woman and act like a woman, but that doesn't make me a woman.

PS, I don't. Well, OK, sometimes on Thursdays.

What if it was her knocking the bloke off though? :p

I mentioned this a few posts back BUT it is still down to him to put a stop to it.
Between 2008 to 2010 I taught 80+ x 15 year olds and some of them can be very sexually manipulative.
Of course every incident was immediately reported to my Managers and I had to have 1 girl removed from the course because of her constant body language and how she acted.
I ended up refusing to go in the classroom until something was done about her because it was an accusation waiting to happen.
So yes, that age group can be very manipulative and look very grown up but there is a line you do not cross.

just that there needs to be a more open debate about it)

Yeah like that is going to happen. Even some of the points raised in here has had some people state that there must be some "closet pedos" in the thread.

no one can have a genuine discussion about it because even playing devil's advocate you may (WILL) be incorrectly branded a fiddler and your life is ruined if the people within the debate are publicly shown.

When i was at school there was this girl in my year who went 'boy mad' at 15. She was throwing herself at anyone who showed any interest at all and was a bit of a man eater. She looked very mature for her age and could very easily pass herself as 18-19 at the time, she was very tall, slim but a cracking figure with all the curves in the right places (butter face through)

She dissappeared a few months before we took our GCSE's and there were rumours about her trying it on a few male teachers. Nothing solid through.

Also i read in the Metro Newspaper that the French police aren't treating this as a criminal case as there has been no official complaint from the parents that she's been kidnapped. Apparently they're not taking this 100% seriously! Seems like if they keep there head down long enough they might just get away with it!

I don't think the French are too bothered anyway, as she is of legal age there. Missing person rather than abductee.
He is an idiot though, because, while she will just be seen as a victim, his life is ruined, simply because he couldn't wait a few months (weeks?)

The school knew enough 7 months ago to tell him to be careful.....its also true to say that , that school has had similar issues with male staff and female pupils before so much so that the Police were called in

You realise she'd have to be 18 to have a relationship with someone in the position of trust, such as a teacher, right?
