Missing HTML icon

The default HTML icon now appears as a unset default application icon. A document with a window inside.

I've tried fixing it by File Types and changing icon there with no luck, anyone know how to fix it?

Sorry, no ideas to fix it but I've had the same problem on my current install of windows (xp x64)

By any chance was it after install Office 2003 and then SP1 and SP2?

You could use something like IconPackager

I had that issue too. I reverted back to the 32 bit windows tho because I was fed up with the lack of peripheral support.

Have a look in the Registry under HKCR at the entries .htm, .html and htmlfile

I found a fix

On the following website I used the vbs script which solved the problem, the other more hands on method didn't seem to solve it.
