Bible is full of examples of intelligent design, maybe you should look before you try to determine if I ever found one. I recommend NIV it maybe easier for you to decifer.

Let me put it this way. If you'd asked a 17th century bishop about the possibility of intelligent design you'd have probably had your head cut of for blasphemy.

I don't work well with examples of things that we can't exactly explain, for instance as you used, I don't know of a situation with a 17th century bishop so cannot relate it do you have an example you could dig out then I would have a read and maybe understand abit more.

Plus probably states even you don't know for sure so what are you trying to put forward to me?

It doesn’t exactly fit in with the concept of god being the creator of the earth and everything on it now does it.

Intelligent design is a 20th century phenomenon invented in response to growing weight of evidence massed by the scientific community that proves to a lesser or greater extent the idea of evolution by natural selection. Until recently the religious community wouldn’t have even entertain the idea of god not being all-powerful. Now that becomes increasingly unlikely they decide to move the goal posts and hitch a ride on the back of idea that threatens to prove them wrong.

Which religious community are you refering to, as far as I am aware ID has been used in various formulas with religious circles, I speak from Christian and Islamic though so cannot speak for others. Untill I have explored and understood the ID concept that Dolph mentions in SC then maybe I will know abit more but I won't pretend to know more either.

Though I agree with Dolph in a lot respects to the ID pattern of things I may read abit more(admittedly I haven't read much into it but scanned over some bits in SD) some aspects I understand more than others but that as I said in reply to dolphs post is for my own interest not to debate or disect.

Though my post may seem harsh, I am slightly rushed but felt I should reply.

As ben j said its a case of chicken and egg, as I also said so am not in the mood to discuss, due to work. Yes its the easy way out as I have other things to do.

I will now be concentrating on "ionising radiation" within Higher Education establishments so I will be withdrawn into my work realm so you shall not see me posting in reply.
