Missing mum

Threads like this are a useful reminder to those of us inclined to be grumpy at Xmas (which I most certainly am) that any day is what you make it. Some people have a really good excuse for feeling a bit low.

Best wishes to everyone, but especially those missing loved ones at such an emotionally charged time of year.

Wishing you all the best mate i cant imagine what i'd do if either of my parents passed away, but sadly it is going to happen :(

It's my first christmas in 35 years without my mum, who lost her battle with cancer last April.

Appreciate this day with your families and my thoughts are with those who have lost a loved one.

I'm sorry to hear this. Think of the all the good memories you have. I'm sure your mum would want you to have a great Christmas :) I wish you all the best.

I hope you are managing to keep your spirits high today, just try to focus on the good memories and have the day that your mother would have enjoyed :)

This is my 2nd Christmas without my Father now, and although it's easier than the last, it's certainly not anything I'd wish on anyone.

All the best :)
