Missing settings (Sound Blaster Z)

I don't get the 'Normal gain/High gain' options either on my Z.

I notice there was a driver update (SBZ_CD_LD_1_00_06.exe) on 24th December. I haven't tried it but maybe that fixes it. I doubt I'll download it as I'm not having any driver issues at the moment. All is good.

Same here on mine. Tried direct connection to the card at the back of the pc just in case and neither gives me the option. Strange

Just tried SBZ_CD_LD_1_00_06.exe and this hasn't added it for me. Maybe it is a feature to be enabled on the ZX/ZXR cards?

I asked Creative support about this.

Got an email back today saying the gain settings for headphones are only avalible in the ZXR card.

Yeah guys this feature is a ZXR feature and is noticeable in the ad for that specific card. Weird how they put it in the digital manual, very deceptive!
