Mists of Pandaria Cinematic revealed

Lolwut? "Cashing in on the success of Kung fu panda"

Hey, I know what would be a great idea. We've got this game, been out for 8 years now. We're making a fourth expansion for it. Lets cash in on the 'success' of a mildly popular childrens/family animated comedy film, a serious departure from the themes and tone of the other expansions of the game!

They wouldn't do that, and this doesn't look like that. The presentation of it is entirely different.

It does still contain pandas doing Kung Fu though :D

As everyone else has said it looks amazing and was well worth waiting for. But this trailer just didn't have the ohhh wow factor to me.
The whole "You are not Prepared" Burning Crusade and amazing Wrath of the Lich King cinematic made me want to play straight away. I think it's the lack of a big bad that just makes me think... As Skyfall said, Meh!

Is this because of Pandas? Because you've been playing as Cows since 2004.

No I know about blizz law. It's just making it all cheesy, the way they passed the weapon round with silly looks on their face. The panda straightening the statue and other little bits, just sums up the way it has gone.

Whereas the original, tbc, wrath and Cata cinematics were amazing, really spine tingilingly good. That was just cheesy.

Cows didn't start as an April fools joke though

Yeah as someone else said the Tauren are pretty "normal". They are are strong and built like brick houses, but they don't shoot rainbows or do Kung-fu.

The Pandas could have been OK, but pandas doing Kung-fu and triple backfliping around the place? That's almost as bad as the Yoda fight scene in the new Star Wars movies :p

People been requesting Pandaren as playable race for a long time and thought it would be cool, then again, haters always louder than the lovers.

I know, I rember when the Blood elfs and Dranei were announced people clamoured for the Pabderan even then. Still doesn't hide the fact that they started life as a April fools joke.

For me Pandas as a race and the whole expac just don't fit the World or rather they don't fit the older Azeroth that people for want of a better word, fell in love with (yes I think old skool blizzard would have done a better job with them).

Call me pedantic, but...

"Why do we fight? To protect home and family. To preserve balance, and bring harmony. For my kind, the true question is... what is worth fighting for?"

Doesn't really make sense to me.

To me, "Why do we fight" and "What is worth fighting for" are basically the same question.

What a load of ******

I enjoyed wow. Was my next big mmo after Ultima Online. I quit last year. Came back a month or so ago on a resurrection scroll but it bored me after an hour :(.

I'm intrigued by the monk class though!

Are the pandas horde or alliance?

If they are neutral, thats a bit ****. Blizzard being lazy or scared of fanboys of a particular race?

Trailer was good, but not as good as the older ones. It was a bit meh as previously said

I just don't get why the Alliance and Horde are STILL at war. They've been at common purpose through demon invasions, liches and end of the world events. It makes NO sense.
