Hello.

I've never really thought about this but is it possible to run a 32GB kit and a 64GB kit together? Will they run in dual channel? Cheers.

Yes you can run them together and yes it'll be dual channel.

Often you can't run the full speed of either kit with 4 dimms installed as CPU memory controllers struggle with 4 DIMMs, especially if the 64GB kit is dual rank.

It might work at JEDEC speeds, but not something I'd attempt with EXPO/XMP enabled. 4 sticks often ends up running very slow.

Safer to buy a 96GB kit.

A few of the peeps have had some luck with single Rank RAM sticks in a 4x configuration. To many factors to say it works 100%

It will work, you'll get 2 banks per channel which can actually be better for some things.

But the memory controllers on desktop boards (especially cheaper ones) aren't usually meaty enough to handle them at full speed.

A lot of people are doing it now because of the silly ram prices though.

I have seen videos of mixing kits and they put one kit per channel which seems strange(more so with different capacities), apparently the AMD memory controller prefers it. Try the 2*32 in the first two slots and then the 2*16 in the next(left to right) then MemTest.
