Mix DDR5 kits?

I've never really thought about this but is it possible to run a 32GB kit and a 64GB kit together? Will they run in dual channel? Cheers.

Yes you can run them together and yes it'll be dual channel.

Often you can't run the full speed of either kit with 4 dimms installed as CPU memory controllers struggle with 4 DIMMs, especially if the 64GB kit is dual rank.

It might work at JEDEC speeds, but not something I'd attempt with EXPO/XMP enabled. 4 sticks often ends up running very slow.

Safer to buy a 96GB kit.

I decided against it in the end, I'm just going to run a 64gb kit. Thanks for the replies

A few of the peeps have had some luck with single Rank RAM sticks in a 4x configuration. To many factors to say it works 100%
