Sorry if this has been asked before... I've just bought 2x1 Gb of Crucial 400Mhz DDR for my Asus a8n-sli premium. I've already got 2x 512 300 Mhz. What will happen when I put this all in?
Will it all run at 300Mhz? or
Will each part run at it's listed speed? or
Will it explode?
would it be better in the long run to ditch my older 2x 512's and go with just the 2x1 Gb's??? as one will hold the other back, Am I worrying about un-noticeable performance issues?
