I currently have 8Gb installed (2 x 4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3 1333Mhz @ 1600Mhz OC) - if I get RAM thats 1600Mhz will all 4 stick still run at 1600Mhz>? (Im on the belief that the 1600Mhz RAM would downclock to 1333Mhz with no overclock and therefore all 4 should OC to 1600Mhz - just looking for some surety
Im wanting to upgrade to 16GB and my motherboard has 2 spare ports, I was going to just buy 2nd hand as Im hoping to build a new PC within the next 12-18 months, I saw Identical pair of what I have for £35 but it was 1600Mhz not 1333Mhz...
would the timings be different on the 1600Mhz chips? and if so would I have to change them (currently left at default)
