61 Plate Focus 1.6 tdci Titanium X estate 119k miles.
I’ve noticed I get an audible clunking sound as I change up, most noticeable from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, I’ve had the car a year and tbh it’s always done it and hasn’t got noticeably worse over the year and 9k or so that I’ve done, the car otherwise drives spot on, the gear change is smooth and no issues selecting gears.
Googled it and had numerous results from driveshafts to gearbox mounting to it just being a trait,I’ve tried two similar examples one clunked changing gear, the other example I tested - which had done 160k Miles - didn’t....
Has anybody else found this with a Mk 3 Focus and did you discover what was the issue?
