MKV File Issues

I can hear the background noise to HD MKV files yet not the actual Audio, does anyone know how to configure this. It used to be fine but all of a sudden has done this, a normal, none MKV file is fine. Picture quality is still fine its just the issue with sound.

Any help is much appreciated thanks!

What are you playing it with? Have no probs on VLC myself.

This issue is with everything, Windows Media Classis as well as WMP, but just started recently. Surely there is a fix?

Issue sorted, ok basically you cannot run the files using a headset, i switched back to my 5.1 using X-Fi and its fine. When i was using motherboards jacks with headset it would not produce the vocal audio. Seems pretty strange as the board iis new and is HD audio

Sounds like you've got your sound devices configured incorrectly. Not sure exactly what but it could be that your speaker config in software doesn't match your real life config. Try playing around with your sound devices.
