I use both and never have issues with Ebay. I agree, the perception of a sale price is lower on MM.
The two systems are not comparable though as MM is not an auction and the buyer can offer without commitment. There is also not too much competition for some stuff on MM whereas you can usually sell anything for a price on Ebay if you get it right.
