19th is now set for the actual MM meet, but im pretty sure we can muster up some members for the weekend after and do a road-trip!

Im pretty sure I read that you have mates in Macclesfield, did u used to live here?

Yup, got some mates up there. One guy called Tom would have left Fallibroome (LOL at the name still) High School in 2001. I went to Uni in Manchester - so lived up there for 3 years .

I pushed it a bit when I took Agw out for a spin...uphill overtake (perfectly safe IMO) and making a bit of progress.

And was I impressed... was I ever! I don't think I've ever giggled so much in my life. Well that, and screaming like a schoolgirl while clinging onto dear life as Gilly threw the Clio into corners at amazing speeds.

Oh, if you're getting a Mongoose, I want to hear it as you overtake me on the straight. Or was it just because you couldn't build up enough speed to get past me... I was going downhill with the wind behind me afterall!

Yeah, on the straight I thought if I had overtaken I would have hit triple figure speeds and I was worried about what was up ahead that I couldn't see. At 80+ even with decent brakes it could have been brown trouser time.

I had to follow him to tell him to turn around, doh! Was quite embarrasing when we did finally get to the pub to find everyone else already sat down with a drink.

If you had gone to overtake me, I would have come off the loud pedal to let you get past quickly, so don't worry about overtaking me in future.

I'm really looking forward to this one though... I'll actually have a car that handles and grips like a **********
