Oh well, I guess the kind of people who will buy it only care about pub bragging rights (Mine has 300bhp but yours only has 280bhp therefore I'm a better person) so it doesn't really matter.

Sorry if I don't like over the top styling and shark fins, look at that spoiler, it looks hilarious.

One day learn to appricate what? Vulgar styling on a car which is not engineered to match it?

The Evo is mad, it can have mad styling. This is a front wheel drive hatch which has had an engine with too much power wedged into it.
 
If you read the full report you would understand the technology behind the choice to go with 2wd. The car is full of engineering to make it handle 300bhp without having the weight overheads and complication of a AWD system. Who wants yet another EVO/WRX STi clone? it's nice to see ford push the envelope without having to resort to copying Subaru or Mitsubishi.

Ford are well known for being able to pull off such a stunt. Im sorry but if you dont class 300BHP as mad, then theres something seriously wrong with you. Also the "shark fins" serve a purpose, its called aerodynamics.

Theres a difference between a 300BHP factory styled Focus Rs and your token 60BHP Nova with a jap style kit on it.

Also correct me if im wrong but wasnt the Ford Focus the World Championship winning rally car at one stage ?

I think it looks horrifically ugly, simple as. It may well serve a purpose, but it still looks damn stupid.

If you were to put and evo and this side by side, i would struggle on which one to bet against winning.

There in the same league.
