I was talking lagers. Marston's Pedigree is way overrated, Bass, Old Empire, Single Malt and Double Drop are much much nicer.

As a rule most Marston's are quite subtle and plain beers, they don't really have an amazing outlandish flavour they are just great standard pints.
Edit: Just remembered, as a rule they pretty much all suck out of cans and bottles and are much better on tap, apart from old empire I have not had the chance of tasting from tap but it is nice from a bottle.
