MMORPG help?

I wouldn't bother getting into any mmo atm other than Guild Wars 2 since it doesn't have a monthly fee.

Every mmo worth playing has been around for a long time and its simply a bad time imo for a noob to start playing any of them.

Wildstar might be worth playing but imo is very generic, avoid Elder Scrolls Online its ****.

I would wait for the new batch of mmo's being developed such as Everquest Next.
 
Ok Thanks for the help everyone, I've decide to get star wars and wildstar too. Lots of great advice in here for people like me who are starting out In this genre.

For a MMOFPS then Planetside is the best.
If you want to play the best more casual MMORPG then Wildstar is like WoW but better.
If you want something harder and more involed and have more time then Eve Online is for you.
 
I think it was described before that EvE is for players who want to be a company/business manager in their spare time :p

Guild Wars 2. It's pay once, no monthly fee. New content every 2 weeks. And the new Living Story started last night.
 
If you want to minimise cost I'd drop on Guild Wars 2, the main reason being that other "completely free" ones tend to have a shop where you buy things that are optional, but usually almost necessary to progress. GW2 gives you the lot.

GW 2 or Eve Online for value for money IMO.
