i have 4536 hours of wow played
Its amazing how quickly the hours spent build up...
For instance, a study into how much time the average British person spent in their lifetimes doing different things ended up with the following stat regarding sex.
Given the average male lifespan of 76 years, the British male spends an average of 4328 hours in the act of lovemaking in the course of their life.
Now thats a depressing thought...to think that you have spent more time in WoW than you have or indeed will, spend having sex for the rest of your life

When I started playing EverQuest in July 1999 I used to be that addicted I'd still be on it at 8am in the morning & thinking sod work I'll goto bed now lol.
Used to play when home from work at 6pm till about 4am, most I've ever played on it was around 26 hours non-stop.

the 3 months i played guild wars seriously i racked up an average of 8 hours a day, i was so disgusted when i worked that out that i quit there and then (well, about 2 weeks after)
this was while working 16 hours a week, going to college full time (which also entailed travelling up to 3 hours a day) i was only sleeping a couple hours a night, it was awful
balls, i've just seen the GW2 trailer, part of me wants to avoid it all together and another part of me wants to see if i can moderate myself to a couple of hours every couple of days :/ help, i think i'm about to fall of the wagon XD
Guild Wars was my first mmo game, up until Prophecies i've always been a fps'er. Started playing wow in March 2008, racked up 2700 hrs so far. Spending around 7 hrs a night on wow, after a full day in work. It keeps my out of the pub on a school night thus saving money anyway :].

I'm guessing because they play WoW as well it will be a lot less than 4328
When I was heavily into EQ and raiding I'd be glued to the damn thing just about every waking moment I was at home, bad times.
I've just gone back to Wow to casually play with some friends, might do a few hours at the weekend if I'm around but that's it for me these days.
