I am after a router that i can plug in a mobile broadband dongle into to create my own wifi network.

I know i can get a "MiFi" modem from 3, but I need the dongle, to plug into the laptop when on the go, rather than carrying a MiFi device, it would be easier for me to unplug the dongle from the router.

But what are my options? A quick google round and i came across:

TP-Link TL-MR3220

Anyone with any opinions on this or have experience of this kit? Or is there something else i can consider?

Dont want anything really expensive or fancy, less than £50 is ideal.

Thanks.

You know a MiFi is not much bigger than a dongle? I opted for the MiFi so I could use it with any device anywhere. The MiFi sits in my laptop bag and only leaves it when I want to turn it on or off.

We use TP-links to send out as a cheaper solution mainly for failover, if they dont go for one of our higher end solutions, does the job :) just make sure you check the chipset of the dongle to ensure it's compatible with the router
