Mobile Data - How much do you use?

I've got a Desire and though I'd be getting through a lot of data on it so I went for a 1GB per month plan. I used to have a Motorola Dext and used to have problems with it because I'd use up all 250MB that Orange gave me on PAYG. With the Desire though I'm only getting through about 160MB! Don't understand it really, perhaps I'm on wifi more often than I though.

How much are you getting through each month? What would you say are the biggest consumers of your data (in terms of apps and widgets).

My counter suggests I'm only using about 150mb a month on my milestone. Biggest consumer? I've no idea, probably web browsing, to be honest. I can't imagine Bloo uses much to pull FB notifications.
 
Think I have been averaging about 100mb on my Desire per month. When I took out the contract with Orange I was worried that 500mb might not be enough per month from what people were saying. I have WiFi at home and at work so rarely ever need to use 3G and even then its only for a quick browse or update facebook
 
I got my desire yesterday afternoon, most of my data has been used through wifi just now, with 38Mb being used since yesterday, 28MB today already but I can only assume something was eating it last night while my phone was on charge, I have my mobile network internet switched off when im in the house though and have only used 393kb since yesterday on that... this is according to the NetCounter app
 
I use 500 to 600 mb upwards and that is just browsing the net through opera mini and watching a bit of youtube on my sony ericsson c510. I dont use my phone as a modem. The only thing I can think causes it is as I make good use of tabbed browsing in opera and mininse rather than close so data probably trickles on.

I only use about 100mb max most months. Sometimes I hardly use the data as I don't really get a chance to use it when I want to use it (ie. usually times when I can't get any signal) :D. I can't use it when commuting as I get on the Tube and at work I'd rather use the pc if I needed to, likewise the same when I'm at home.
I generally just use it for web browsing, emails, msn, google maps etc... Not exactly massive bandwidth eaters.
 
I get free data I must admit but I go through a 2/2.5gig of last.fm, streaming and general surfing per month currently.
 
I've used 18mb through browsing, am averaging 500mb per month. which is nothing on my t-mobile contract with a 3gb monthly usage.

835MB since 09.07.10 but about 500 MB of that will be downloading Spotify stuff away from home. I'm on T Mobile with a Desire and love being able to use it exactly how I want to. Smart phones should be used without having to worry about going over a half gig limit.
 
Not using as much as I thought on my Orange contract [100MB per month-ish], mainly use wifi round the house. I don't use it much out and about, partly because reception here in Chester for most providers is pretty crap including Orange.
 
I dont do any form of Video or Music streaming and just have the usual email delivery and browsing usage which normally comes in at around 150mb per month.
 
i dont think i've ever gone over 300mb (3gb limit), i'm normally on wifi for market, newsrob downloads etc..

i'm sure i could use all the data easily with an hour on youtube a day while commuting
 
Used around 200MB (575MB ish including Wi-Fi) for July so far, but that's with Wi-Fi on at home and I'm at home lots since I'm an unemployed student ;) the Wi-Fi has used around 375MB this month.

Last months total was 950MB or so. That's using the web frequently, app downloads, e-mails, Twitter/Facebook updates and Google Navigation.
 
Usually a couple of hundred MB, If there's a power cut or I take a train journey I can quickly rack up more through tethering though.
 
Around 400-800MB normally.

I've gone to 4GB on T-Mobile to test the FUP and didn't get a single message from them about it so I guess they're pretty soft :p
 
I average around 400-600mb per month on my Desire, with a 1GB free data allowance on 3. Mainly Browsing and email I guess, with just a little steaming!
