mobile for dad

Hi,

I'm looking at purchasing a new phone for my dad at under the £100 Mark.

He will be going from an old Samsung flip phone so needs to be as simple to use as possible with large text.

I'm guessing it's going to be a touch screen android of some sort?

Am in the same boat and need to replace my dads (still working! 3310)
He needs nothing more than calls and texts, but would a Lumia 530 be better than a Nokia 225? Ease of use, big clear screen? Touchscreen better than buttons?
