Passed a mobile camera earlier and it the rear of the van was facing me as I drove towards it. Now, from what I understand this is where they get you from? The black tinted window wasn't down and there was no camera poking out.

However, when I passed the camera van I noticed a yellow box behind it.

In this instance, is it the window from the back or the yellow box as you pass the van that takes the picture?

Did it look like this?

No, was a normal transit style van (i.e. the ones you see with the camera out the back of the window) but on this occasion the rear window was shut. Yellow box was similar but I remember it looking bigger and mounted nearer the ground.

Thing is, it can't have been getting traffic coming the other way as it was just after a roundabout and there were trees in between.

the mobile vans here (wiltshire) take three seperate photos 2 out of the rear window; distant and close-up, and one side-on

fingers crossed for 14 days
