Sweet merciful jesus will someone please put this steaming pile of horsedung out of it's misery and wipe it from the face of the earth??

I cannot begin to recall how many emails I've lost because upon send it return an error 'no response returned' or the random and regular automatic page reloads whilst I'm composing. Not to mention it is slow and unresponsive when it is 'working'...

Oh, and me.com mail is 'currently unavailable' yet what does the mobileme support page show... http://www.apple.com/support/mobileme/

The sad thing is I can't believe I'm paying for this turdware, but unfortunately
I've been locked in as I have an iphone and macbook and thought apple were more than capable of hiring web developers with an IQ greater than that of an amoeba and produce a working web app. I was wrong. :(

Rant over, have a nice day! :)

Me too.

Was a bit ropey for the first part when launched but since then fine. Only time had a problem sending was when I was in a dodgy network reception area which is more the 3G/iPhone rather then the mobileme.

Just signed parents up to an iMac and the mobileme family pack.

Are you guys mental?? I'm talking about the WEBSITE not the service! You know, http://www.me.com/mail/

What the hell, don't people read thread titles anymore?

Calm down, calm down!

Well that's what I'm talking about. I have no troubles when using iphone or mail on my mac. However, at work I use the me.com website as typing long emails is unpractical on the phone (no copy + paste for one).

Just don't understand why it's so hard for the site to 'work'!

Yeah that the only gripe i have is the time being wrong no idea why... So you having problem sending long emails online then?

Basically I use it throughout the day to send a lot of emails, long and short. The trouble is the site is prone to automatically refreshes which is a pain but when you're in the middle of writing an email it is infuriating! Then sometimes when you send an email you get a mobile me error dialog flash up, so you don't know if it was sent or not, and a lot of times during the day you can't access emails at all yet the apple mobileme status never changes...

Arg!

I am more shocked to see so many people pay $99 a year for 20gb mail box. How do you guys justify it? What does it do for the money?

Because it's more than a mailbox. It's a collection of services, and if you use more than a couple of them it's worth getting. If you were only after the mail, there would be little point in shelling out for it.

Even though Google offers the same, better and for free?
