Yeah some time ago. They're ok, and pretty well known. Google for people's experiances.

Just remember if you're doing a cashback deal make sure to stay on top of it. Nothing specifically wrong with them, but EVERYone that does cashback deals tries to confuse you and make you miss the bill deadline so you forfeit the cashback.

I've ordered an HTC Hero on Orange from them today, had to email and cancel the order as I forgot to do it through QuidCo (you can get £40 back if it's a 12 month contract, £60 if it's an iPhone 3GS), anyway they replied very quickly and were rather polite.

I have 9 months half price line rental so it remains to be seen how that will go (via redemption), although their terms and conditions are quite simple on the procedure.

Cool. Just figure out the dates and mark them in you're calender just in case :)

The few times i've done redemption it always seems to rely on the person u get on the phone, and once that person decides you messed up, its hard to get anyone in the company to undo their decision.

I'm sure it'll be fine, not trying to scare you, just better to be safe :)

Its always with the operator (eg orange). But for redemption deals you pay orange the full price each month, and then claim the money back from mobiles.co.uk (or whoever you buy with) every month, quater or 6 months.

You need to check the terms properly because they usually want the original bill, and you have to send the first 3 bills, but then sometimes they tell you, no u send the first 3 at month 4. Then you send it month 4 and they say no it was suposed to be end of month 3 and now its too late lol

Again, not to scare you, it doesnt happen often with good companies, but be safe, read the terms, call a few times to confirm and mark the date in your calender :)

I got my i8910 from them two weeks ago and got £70 cashback which you have to wait 2 weeks before they payout. I've had an email today to say it is being processed. So not a problem from me. They are part of the cpw.

It's nowhere near as complicated as that with mobiles.co.uk (although it was with another company I used a few years ago). With mobiles.co.uk you just need to send in certain bills (for an 18 month contract months 6, 9 and 12), photocopies are fine (actually they suggest this).

I recently sent in my 6th month one (a photocopied version), within a day or so of posting I had an email saying they received it, then a couple of days later saying it was the wrong bill, a month early... (my fault, I was being overly cautious with the dates:p), so...

Next month I sent in my new photocopied bill, recieved an email a couple of days later to say it had been received, and then another a few days later saying the cheque was on it's way, a week later and the cheque was in my hands.:)

So no need for the phoning hassle etc, just send the (right!) bill to the address provided and check your emails.:)

Well that's kind of what i mean. If you had been a month late it might have been a different story.

When i meant phone, i meant to confirm what bill they want, or when you call them when you have made a mistake.

I guess yes, however it's not much different to paying your credit card off a month late so although it can be a pain it isn't really a major issue.

Yeah I know, it shouldnt be. The reason they space it out over the months is because there is a risk of commision claw back from the network if you dissapear. So once they know you have paid 3 months they know x amount of their comission is safe etc.

So yeah, if you send the bill one month late it shouldnt matter. But with a lot of companies they say it does - go figure. Its just an excuse to not pay you.

There was a guy on here who worked for mobiles.co.uk who came in to the Orange disconnection thread and basically called everyone frauds and criminals. Seemed a bit of an idiot, but I guess they can't all be like that.

Hello,

Thank you for your recent order.

We can confirm that your order has been accepted by your chosen network and has now been passed to our Quality Team for further checks.

Kind regards,
