Moblock blocking Steam

My peerguardian prog called Moblock seems to be Steam from connecting to the internet

i have the following ports open in my router:
The following ports must be open in your firewall and router for Steam and Steam Games to work:
UDP 1200 (used for friends service)
UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive
TCP 27020 to 27039 inclusive

and HL2/Steam runs fine when Moblock is not working

my problem is i don't really understand the moblock instructions to whitelist Steam - also i am assuming i need to whitelist the ports rather than an IP but not really sure about this as don't know what Ip to open anyway

These are the Moblock instructions:

################## Whitelist ports #############
# Whitelist ports by port number or with the associated service name.
# Seperate several entries with whitespace (" ")

# This section works only for IPTABLES_SETTINGS="1"
# Do a "moblock-control restart" when you have changed these settings.

WHITE_TCP_IN=""
WHITE_UDP_IN=""
WHITE_TCP_OUT=""
WHITE_TCP_OUT="http https"
WHITE_UDP_OUT=""
WHITE_TCP_FORWARD=""
WHITE_UDP_FORWARD=""
##################################

How would i alter this to allow steam to run?
e.g.
* do i update in or out or forward or all or what?
* i wasn't sure what they meant you to do to separate multiple entires
* what if i have a range of ports?

thanks
