Hi all,

I'm looking at upgrading my current set up and struggling to decide what to go for. I have just recently ordered a new MSI Hd 6850 OC and also a Zalman Z9 case.

I have now decided to go the whole hog and change mobo/ram/cpu.

I'm looking at spending £300ish and currently thinking of :-

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge)

Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77

Corsair Vengeance Blue 8GB (2x4GB)

Can anyone advise if this is reasonable as not sure really if different Ram is better/worse or if I'm better of with a 2500k instead of 3570k?

I have OC'd in the past so will be playing around with it.

My current PSU is a corsair HX 520w.

Current screen 24" BenQ 1920x1080

It's mainly going to be used for web browsing and a bit of catching up on gaming as I've been away for last 5 years on PC gaming due to PS3.

Cheers

Mark

Also as it's going into a Zalman Z9 case is there a particular size mobo I should be buying as I'm not sure on the difference between the Z77, Z77m, Z77mx or Z77x.

think max size is ATX so just about any z77 will fit unless its E-ATX,so the board depends on budget and what you want from it sli/xfire etc
